If you want to live in a fairy tale, go to Lago del Laux: the landscape that will occur before your eyes is that of fairy tales, on the banks of a natural lake. In the rustic dining room (intimate, well cared for, with a comfortable fireplace) are served Piedmont and Occitan specialties. ideal place for fishing (during summer), hiking and photographic safari. A short distance from the natural parks of Val Troncea, Orsiera and Rocciavrè and Gran Bosco of Salbertrand.

You start from Usseaux, you overstep Balboutet village and than you arrive at "Pian dell'Alpe". In Spring time you can see many beautiful flowers. If you are hungry there are two typical restaurants.

This is an ancient alpine village. Starting from Balboutet, walking on an old military road, you arrive at this small village surrounded by nature. Starting from this village, you can reach a highland with a brook and a small waterfall. The walk is very easy, for beginners and children.
