Corbett Gardens in Bowral is the show piece of the Tulip Time Festival and dates back to 1911 when, at the suggestion of Mrs Ada Corbett, the local tourist association purchased Deadmans Paddock for a public park. Corbett Gardens, located in the centre of town, boasts a huge array of tulips and colourful springtime bulbs, shrubs and trees.

Absolutely gorgeous winery, cellar door and restaurant. It is my absolute favourite place in the Highlands!
The restaurant has an amazing book library within, and in the middle of winter with all the wood fires burning!
Make sure you book in for lunch, or dinner – as it gets busy!

The restaurant has an amazing book library within, and in the middle of winter with all the wood fires burning!

It’s time to dust off the bagpipes, oil the bicycle chain and put your walking shoes on to visit this Scottish flavoured area. The town is a step back into the 1930’s, home to Brigadoon, but these days it’s also a Mecca for cyclists of all ages and bushwalkers.
