Marlow’s is one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite or to dine in that is close by. It is only about a 10-15 minute walk or a 3-5 minute drive. I love their crab cakes and asparagus fries! Sunday’s they usually have brunch with unlimited mimosas!

JR Cricket’s is a great place for adults, groups of friends and mainly sporting events or a quick bite. They’re somewhat pricey but the food is amazing & you get a lot!

Great vegan food! Quiet scene. Near shopping plaza and the North Dekalb Mall. A little costly but extremely tasty for vegan lovers! It’s less than a 10 minute drive away.

Roswell Mills is such a great place to enjoy the outdoors and also view the beautiful water fall. Such a historic place. Great for all people, families, groups, etc... Parking can be tough if you don’t go early enough. Roswell is about 20-25 minutes away up 400N. Worth the visit if you’re an outdoors person or want to go swimming.

Marta is safe and convenient if you plan it well!
Marta is the public transportation system in the Metro-Atlanta area. It can be convenient if the trip is planned well. To ride the Marta is extremely affordable! Standard one-way passes are around $2.50 ($5 for round trip) & around $9 for a single day pass. Temporary paper cards or permanent plastic cards may be purchased at the train stations machines. Atlanta can be extremely hot and humid in the summer. Travel early or around sunset to avoid having kiddos out in the heat. Pack a few must have snacks/insulated water bottles for long lasting outings. Also, back up clothes or diapers just in case! Small distractions to occupy kiddos can be helpful when needed like a favorite toy, book, fidget or tech. Find a small back pack to fit your needs & use carriers if possible for more simple travel.
