Brick's is fairly new to Reno. One of my guests came to Reno for a medical appointment and Brick's was recommended by their physician. They were not disappointed and even suggested I recommend it to other guests.

The Gold Dust West Casino is a family owned casino that is a favorite with locals. They have a restaurant that is also a favorite. We go there often as the food and prices are good (i.e. prime rib for $9.99) and it is 5 minutes away. Most importantly, they have a large parking lot and the entire facility is in a single-story building. Note: children are not permitted in restaurant or casino. Adults only!

Rancho San Rafael is the largest Regional Park in the Truckee Meadows. It is the location of Reno's Hot Air Ballon Races, one of several locations for Hot August Nights and Street Vibrations. It is a great destination for walking and jogging and home of the Wilbur May Museum. Google it to learn of it's special events and activities. There is a playground and several nice recreational/group areas.
