Nutmeg's features paninis (I love the Mousetrap multiple cheeses one), daily quiche and daily family style meals. Very good cupcakes with interesting flavors. They also have ice cream.
Convenient location across from Highlands Regional Hospital.

Puerto Rican and Cuban - one of the newer restaurants in town. Small café with home made empanadas that you really must try. FYI: the sandwiches are huge and delicious. The café con leche is also really good.

Parks & Nature
The City of Sebring Cultural Center area includes: City Pier, beach, Rotary Park, Library, Historic Society, Highlands Museum of the Arts and Highlands Lakeside Theater. This area is only 4 blocks from Eucalyptus House. It is a good location to see the fantastic sunsets over Lake Jackson.
Florida's first state park. 4 eco-systems, Ranger operated tram tours, lots of trails. You may see a gator on the Cypress walk trail. Good for birders, the park has its own bird list.
Playground and picnic/BBQ area.
Florida's only Civilian Conservation Corp museum. There is an annual CCC Festival in November.
Frequent concerts in the park.
