This is a gelato shop in the heart of Malibu. The gelato claims to have genuine Italian ingredients and it really is delicious! If you like expresso, try the affocato (expresso served over gelato (like an grown up root beer float!). Yum.
Tip: Keep your eyes open for the celebrities walking around the shops here.

This is a casual dining spot where you order at the counter and then grab a table. I recommend you go outside and get a table at the edge, you might spot deer, if not, it's still a picturesque view of nature. They have all sorts of seafood and fish - fast and fresh. Excellent coleslaw too, in fact, they'd won "best coleslaw" in LA back in the 90's (before the internet!!), I saw it on TV and that's how I discovered them in the first place - I've been a fan ever since.

Inn of the Seventh Ray
128 Old Topanga Canyon RdThis is probably one of the most romantic restaurants I've ever seen. It's a bit out of the way. The food tends to be on the organic, hippy side. But the best thing is the idyllic creekside, oak tree canopied outdoor seating. Twinkly white lights, dear meandering nearby - a very special place.
This is another romantic mountain restaurant along a similar theme as Inn at the 7th Ray. Both are out of the way, set amongst the trees with a rustic vibe. This lodge has a menu of unique game (buffalo, elk, etc). It's a lovely place to order a bottle of wine and live it up surrounded by oaks and a waterfall/fountain outside.

This lodge has a menu of unique game (buffalo, elk, etc). It's a lovely place to order a bottle of wine and live it up surrounded by oaks and a waterfall/fountain outside.

This is a really unique wine tasting experience. If you visit during the weekdays, you might get to see Geoffrey the giraffe and feed him lettuce right out of your hand. He's a huge instagram star! They also have Zebras, Alpacas etc. They make different stops on the jeep and you have a chance to see some lovely spots in the hills near Malibu. The grounds are beautiful with ponds and trees.
