Very tiny old and authentic town up from Marbella. There is very little parking here so coming early on morning is suggested. This is tiny authentic place not much for tourists. This is why I love it.

From this location you can hike (mountain bike) beautiful mountains on upper Calahonda. There is lots of routes to walk from here. This is very hilly area so bring water with you and take 1.5 hours minimum

Getting Around

You can walk into La Cala from the Calahonda beach. This is about 3-4 km walk depending on where you start. This is our morning walk and run at the beach. Totally enchanting walk and run. Also have lovely restaurants on the route.
