Sausalito has a great selection of food and drink options and you are close to more great options in San Francisco and further north in Marin. Local fare, Sushi, Chinese, Thai, Italian, Indian, Burgers, Fish and more. Lots of great place to take in most of which you will want to return to.
Great British Pub on the California Coast. The Pelican is a great place to visit after a trip to the beach to warm up, play some darts and have a pint and it's a good restaurant and lovely inn too.

The folks at Equator took over one of my favorite places for coffee and breakfast - Cibo after they closed. Equator brought back most of the Cibo staff and menu. Coffee is roasted here and is great. food and pastries are also fab. Certainly a local favorite.

The staff is friendly, the coffee is great and the baked goods including breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches and pastries are delicious. The store has a great selection of high quality products so you can do some shopping as you start your day with some great coffee or join them for Wine Wednesdays when you sometimes meet a winemaker.
