A guided tour through the Tropical dry forest in Nicoya Peninsula, where you will have the chance to see an interesting wildlife - monkeys, birds, pizotes, iguanas are just a few - when you are walking with a naturalist guide along the paths, where also you can see all kind of flora that this region has to offer.
Cabo Blanco Butterfly Farm. A perfect place to learn more about the life cycle of butterflies. They offer guided and self-guided tours. Located between Cabuya and Mal Pais, from the Cabuya crossroads 1.8km towards Mal Pais, on the left-hand side. Open Mon-Fri: 9am - 12pm / 2:30pm - 5pm. Closed Sat and Sun.

Honey's organic market is held on Saturdays from 10:30am in Montezuma in the park opposite the main grocery store. She has been offering organic fruit and vegetables as well as breads and goat cheese/milk/yoghurt for many years in Montezuma. Not to be missed!

Held next to the volleyball court, under palm trees on the edge of Montezuma beach you can find here a wide variety of items handmade by local artists, as well as delicious refreshments. Live music is often part of the entertainment. Starts around 9am.
