Food Scene

On a sunny and warm day, nothing beats a cold drink on Kippers, placed by and old shipyard at Verftet on the peninsula of Nordnes. They offers tables alongside the bay of Bergen, and you can see the boats go by all day. They serve great seafood as well. A nice 30-minute walk from the apartment, that goes trough different places in the city. Not the cheapest place in Bergen, but definitely one of the nicest when its sun and warm. Plot in “USF Verftet” on Google maps to find your way, or check out the map where we have pointed this place out for you.

It has been 10 years since we first came her, and we still have a tendency to come back time after time. Here are three reasons why: A good selection of beer, great pizzas and affordable prices. Located on a hip side of the city, there are a lot of differents shops and bars/night clubs in the area. However, the food is really good, and the view is fantastic. You can take the cablecar to/from the top of Mount Ulriken. The restaurant also works as a café, so you can eat lunch there as well.
