This is a great "date night" spot and is reasonably priced. This is our favorite "happy hour" in town with signature cocktails at $5 and small plates between $5-$15. This is hands down the best burger in Chattanooga, but if you need more than a burger they serve a full menu sourcing as many local ingredients as possible.

On your way to Lookout Mountain grab a cup of coffee to go from Chattanooga's only drive through coffee hut. Arguably the best cup of coffee in town. Please be advised this is drive through only.

Sightseeing

Historic Walking bridge that connects the North Shore (Hill City) and Downtown Chattanooga. It's great to park close to Walnut Street (probably try parking on 3rd Street) and walk over the Walnut Street Bridge to Frazier Avenue. This will allow window shopping before heading back.

Entertainment & Activities

We are members to the Tennessee Aquarium and always recommend a trip here. This was completed in the early 90's as a move to revitalize the city of Chattanooga. It was completely privately funded and is a downtown gem. Not only is it an educational attraction it is very beautifully executed. It serves the tourists of the area as well as so many locals. It is a must see, especially if you need escape from the heat or rain.

Parks & Nature

Great trails only minutes from downtown Chattanooga. If you need to stretch your legs you can walk a shorter trail of a mile or up to three miles. The trails are directional changing each day for mountain bikers and hikers. Pay attention to the direction and enjoy. Also, make sure to wear proper footwear, Chacos, sneakers, or hiking boots are recommended.

Arts & Culture

Outside art installations have been placed all around the city in the empty passage ways. Make sure to download the walking map before venturing out, but it is so great to arrive to these installations around the city.

Shopping

Check out the collection of shops and eateries on the North Shore of Frazier Avenue. Wonderfully located in historic Hill City. The collection or shops range from clothing, jewelry, art, books, shoes, curios, antiques, etc. The restaurants range from hotdogs, ice cream, vegan, authentic tapas, and sushi.

Getting Around

If your interested in biking the city with the bike rentals you must first get to a station. Unfortunately our house is just beyond the bike stations, but they are easy to find. I would recommend driving downtown to park your car for the day and switch to a bike and see the city from two wheels. As long as you stay in the downtown areas there are lots of stations to return the bikes to and pick up from.
