Parks & Nature
There are seemingly endless mountain biking/hiking trails all around the hills that surround the parking for these trail heads. They range from the easy to extremely challenging. It is maintained by the city and is great fun. There is a fun bike park near the parking lot and trailhead's. Take extra water and a snack and go have fun. Always yield to bikers going uphill, that means stop and move over for them, they have the right-of-way. Be respectful of the land and the people on the trails with you.

Rocky Mouth Trail Head is one of many hikes that can be enjoyed by people of nearly every age for hours or the whole day! This is a shorter hike we'd rank as "easy". There is a waterfall at the end. Depending on the time of year, it could be big or small.

The Bell Canyon via Larry's Trail is one of our favorites for a enjoying a sunny afternoon. There are three destinations.
The first is the Lower Reservoir. We would call it an easy to moderate hike. You can take 30-45 minutes to get there and back.
You can continue upward into the mountain up to Bell Canyon Falls. This is a moderate hike. It will take you about another hour to get up and half that coming back.
You can actually continue on even further and upward to the Bell Canyon Upper Reservoir. This is a moderate to difficult hike. You will need to pack a lunch and water if you go all the way up there. It will take you all day to get there and back.
You can end your hike at the small reservoir which isn't far or continue higher for even better views.

You can take your towels and find a place under a tree with shade or anywhere and go have fun. We find a place along the street and walk in so we don’t have to pay $7, if you’re not allergic to walking.

We like to order over the phone, go pick it up, bring it home, and watch a movie together as a family. The automatically reduce the price 10% for take-out orders. You can view the menu on their website. It takes about 20-25 minutes to complete your order. Since it takes 15 minutes to get there with little traffic its usually ready by the time we get there.

Awesome food and personal service, but this one is a bit more expensive than normal. You will be filled, no doubt, but you won't walk out of there for less than $100 for two people if you want your taste buds to dance and your belly to be filled.

It tastes different here than in Hawaii but that can easily be explained because they have different sources of food grown in different areas. Still, pretty dang good, worth the drive to get there from here.
