With incredible views of Mount Rainier, Mercer Island, and downtown Seattle skyscrapers, Seward Park is one of the best places to walk in the area. Its 2.2-mile loop gathers in some of the best scenery in Seattle, and for the adventurous there are myriad trails across the hillier areas. A great playground and lots of shady areas for picnics complete the park.

Simply the best collection of aviation and space exploration history on the West Coast, and among the best in the country. Located by Boeing Field, this museum speaks directly to some of the critical history of Seattle as it grew into the technology and innovation hub it is today.

Drinks & Nightlife

German kitsch never goes out of style, and neither do the many beers the Berliner has on tap. The pretzels are not to be missed.

You can't go here without a member to get you in. It's an underground Goth/Industrial club where the music is still loud, the smoke is still thick, and the drinks are poured stiff. Not for the faint of heart, but a true legend of the Seattle club scene.

Seattle has an amazing craft beer/distiller/cider scene, and Seattle Cider is one of the best! This is a great place to hang out and drink cider, also offers light pub fare.
