Cantonese Food - modern, large restaurant on the side of the dock. Very tasty food, bustling place. They will serve you a drink at the bar if you need to wait for a table to become available.

Quirky museum - not very big, but the kids love it. You usually get to see lots of small aircraft and helicopters landing and taking off at the airport too. There is a cafe there and the airport is close to Dinas Dinlle beach so its a good day trip out.

Parks & Nature
It only takes about 10 minutes to walk from the centre of the town to the top of Twthill - and the views over the Castle, the Menai Straits & Caernarfon are well worth it! Walk over either of the foot bridges that go over the main road through the centre of town - then keep heading upwards!

If you walk over the footbridge beside the Castle and follow the road along the seafront you can walk along the seafront path, see rare sea birds, and there is a children's park (swings, slides, etc) - called Coed Helen Parc.

A really long picturesque sandy beach - stunning. Can be very windy there depending on the wind direction. A Roman hill fort to climb right on the beach, cafes, little shop, a park with swings, loads of parking space right beside the beach.

Getting Around
All the buses arrive & depart here - take a bus to Llanberis for Snowdon. Not specifically 'Stand A' - there is a row of stops, so have a read of the timetables or ask a friendly looking persons which stop you need for your destination.

Taxis are available to pick up on the town Square - 'Y Maes' - in the evenings. Or there are taxis ready outside Specsavers during the day. Specsavers is right beside the flat.

This is now called 'Beics Antur Bikes'. Bike hire - cycle along the sea front or along the cycle path beside the steam train railway track. Both rides start at where you hire the bikes - Porth Yr Aur, just off the promenade / seafront, at the bottom of High Street.
