Honeycut in DTLA has 2 bar rooms. One of the rooms has a light-up dance floor. The other room has the bar and lots of lounge seating. So if you feel like dancing or don't--this is the perfect place. Kind of a drive away. You could take the train there and Lyft or Uber back.

Otherwise you will regret being stuck in traffic to and from Runyon. There is a small parking lot on the North entrance. Street parking at the South entrance. Beautiful park with water and a fountain. Can walk around the circle park. There is a bridge. Lots of daytime activities. Can paddle boat in the water. There is also a library on the water as well. Near DTLA.
