Sightseeing

Most historic town in Puerto Rico. Founded in the 1,500's, it is the oldest settlement in PR. El morro is one of the most iconic buildings in Puerto Rico, as well as La Fortaleza. There is plenty to do, as the town hosts a variety of museums, plazas, restaurants, galleries, boutiques, and has a vibrant nightlife.

It is the only tropical rainforest that belongs to the U.S. Forest Service. The peak itself is one of the highest in Puerto Rico, standing at 1,080 meters (3543 feet) above sea level. The peak is nearly always covered in thin mist and, due to its high humidity, a quick shower develops during some afternoons.
