Rapparee Cove

Another secluded dog friendly beach in Ilfracombe. The site of a shipwreck in 1796, you never know, you might find some of the ships gold if you look carefully.

Walk on the fishing side of the harbour and flow the coast, past the skate park. A sheltered cove with shingle beach, good for swimming if you don’t want to get in the car. My favourite local Ilfracombe beach and one that I frequent regularly. Very safe for swimming and mostly used by locals. About 10 mins walk from 2 The Villa, up past the harbour on the right and just round the corner and down the steps from the skateboard park.
