Gorgeous park that is HUGE. There is a Japanese Garden that is really amazing with huge koi pond with fish. If you access the Park on the Av. Patria entrance you can park near the horses. They have many horses that you can go horseback riding. 70 pesos for 30 minutes or 110 pesos for 1 hour. Always a favorite with the kids.

The Colomos Forest is located west of the City of Guadalajara. It has an area approx. of 92 hectares. They have a dominant tree population eucalyptus, casuarinas and pine Michoacan, and some isolated examples of ash, white cedar, jacarandas, cypresses, ficus, Indian laurel, and many more species. The Forest has the characteristic of Induced Forest, Urban and autonomous.
