The 1 mile hike from the parking area is worth it! See Vikingsholm Castle and enjoy the serenity of Emerald Bay. Tip: Bring water for the walk back up to the parking lot.

Best view in all of lake Tahoe is at the top of Emerald Bay. Stop at the visitors center and take in the view and learn about the history. Some great hikes start near by and must to do Summer, Spring and Fall.

One of the prettiest lookouts in all of Tahoe. Great hike to the bottom to see and get into the lake. You can rent kayaks to paddle to the island. This is MUST SEE.
