Cardinham Woods is great for all the family. There are amazing walks in the woods, all have good trail paths. There are separate cycle routes from easy to hard (if you're up to it try the Bodmin Beast!). There are a varying degree of distances for the routes and you can easily make your own up. …

30 minute drive. Nice walking trails and cafe, large carpark. Great off road cycle trails, take your own bikes or I believe you can hire but do enquire before setting off.

Great for walks or for more challenging mountain bike trails than those found at nearby Lanhydrock. Cafe on site.

Establishment
“Blow the cobwebs away in this ancient landscape. Three interlinked Neolithic stone circles, the only one of its kind and natural rock feature of cheese ring like formations on top of each other. Friendly country pub close to the car park. ”

Point of Interest
“Part of Cornwall’s mining heritage, Carnglaze Caverns consists of three man-made caverns formed as part of a slate quarry in the Loveny Valley, near the village of St Neot on the edge of Bodmin Moor. The three gigantic caverns, have a constant temperature of 10ºC, which is a welcome relief from excessive heat and great shelter from the rain. The lowest of the three caverns has a lake. You can wander around 6.5 acres of shaded woodland with an Enchanted Dell filled with faeries, guarded by loyal dragons and home to hobbits and other wondrous woodland creatures. Take a picnic and make a day of it. Carnglaze is fun for all the family all year round. Carnglaze also plays host to an excellent line up of musicians, so why not check out the website before you book your holiday and book some concert tickets?”
