A significant area of native forest. The view from the summit extends from the Kaikoura Range (South Island) to Mount Taranaki (northwest), Porirua Harbour (east) and Mana & Kāpiti Island (seaward).

A great walk (and workout) with stunning views over Porirua. Also great for mountain biking!!!

Fantastic Walking and mountain biking tracks up Colonial Knob Walkway. The views make it all worthwhile!

This is a challenging walk if you go through the forest. Beautiful views over the city when you reach the top.
