Im giving away are little secret. This is a natural beach habitat. With lake leading into the beach. The chumash Indians would forage for food of all kinds. This is a bird sanctuary and eco system.

Beautiful boardwalk trail across lake to a usually windy wild beach. Bring a picnic, or get some very authentic Mexican food in Guadalupe.

3098 Oso Flaco Lake Road Very closeby and amazingly beautiful hike across a lake all the way to the dunes and the ocean. Highly recommend! To access, drive down Oso Flaco Lake road and park in the parking lot of on the street nearby. The trailhead is located near the parking lot. Because it is a State Park, there is typically a fee of $5.
