A network of hand carved tunnels leading to sheltered beaches and tidal Victorian bathing pool. Rated the UK's 3rd best rock pooling beach by BBC Wildlife Magazine.
Great Victorian beach pay for entry but definitely worth a look...this is also a great place for weddings etc..
Definately a must! See how the Victorians holiday'd in this old part of Ilfracombe - very interesting.
Privately owned beach, used in Victorian times, that also is now the Number 1 beach wedding destination in the UK. The tunnels beach area is separate from the wedding venue, you pay a small fee on entry, but it's worth a visit. It has also recently featured in Robson Green's Costal Lives…
Check out this beach with its walkways carved out of the rock to access this Victorian highlight, with its own tide-trapped swimming pools!

“This is directly situated behind us. This is a beautiful green steep hill where if you look out you can see Wales. This is a great place for walking dogs and great for a short hike or run. ”

Restaurant
“A popular pub with locals and tourists, a great choice of beers and very reasonably priced pub grub. 2 minute walk to Hele beach and next to a huge pay and display carpark. Wear the kids out on the beach, then tea and a pint in the pub, what could be better!”
