My favourite local restaurant, Peet’s Restaurant has a splendid harbour-side setting locally, serves a variety of local produced food at reasonable prices, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, best to book a table.

Harbourside eaterie, with veggie options. Good decor and friendly, helpful staff. Sometimes a bit of a wait for the food, but worth it. Easy to find at the very end of the main road through Lochinver village. Head towards the harbour. Cream coloured building on the left, opposite the water. Remember to phone in advance of arriving in the area!( Think "Book early to avoid disappointment!"...) 01571 844085 but book in advance
