Great place to picnic and go for a hike. You can go up to the top of Brock's Monument also if you don't mind stairs!

The park at Brock's Monument offers stunning views down the Niagara River, and on clear days, you can see all the way to Toronto. A really nice stop for a picnic or a casual walk. If you're feeling more intrepid, you can climb to the top of the monument.

There is a staircase you can climb up inside of this monument. It looks out over the gorge and river. I've never done it because I am afraid of heights but apparently it's cool:)

While it’s not open all year round, Brock’s Monument (14184 Niagara Pkwy, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, L0S 1J0) located in Queenston Heights Park actually contains a spiral staircase that takes you all the way to the top – for an interesting view of the entire Niagara region! There is a small charge for climbing all the way to the top, and it’s hard to pin down exactly when its open. The entrance to Brock’s Monument is behind a giant wooden door at the base. If the monument is open for climbing the door will be open, if not, the door will be closed. It is a strenuous stair climb all the way to the top – you likely have to have some physical endurance to attempt the climb!
