During the week they have two different programs-one starts at 5pm, the other at 6pm. The box office closes at 5pm so you will need to purchase your tix earlier in the day if you want to attend the 6pm showing. Most cabbies will scratch their heads in wonder if you ask them to take you to the planetarium. Just walk to Walmart. You need to walk through the Walmart and Suburbia parking lots. You will easily spot the white dome and cross one more street. Unfortunately, there is very little to do at the planetarium outside of the actual show times. There are some interesting photos and timeline on the walls, but that's it. Sometimes a local school will display its artwork. Closed on Sundays.

En este planetario, te cuentan acerca de los adelantos científicos que tenía el pueblo maya. Es muy bonito y a un lado de éste se encuentra la casa de la cultura, donde puedes checar los itinerarios de eventos culturales.
