A visit to Camp Vught National Memorial (2km) is very impressive. Camp Vught was the only SS concentration camp outside of Nazi Germany. Today you will find a memorial center at the former camp site. There are prisoner barracks, three guard towers and the original fences, as well as a reconstruction of cell 115 where a horrifying bunker drama occurred. The execution site was converted to a national monument in 1947, bearing the names of all 329 male resistance fighters who died here.

In Vught you'll find one of the two WO II Dutch concentration camps. 31.000 prisoners have been kept here. www.kampvught.nl

Weet wat zich hier in de omgeving heeft afgespeeld in WOII. In Nationaal Monument Kamp Vught krijg je een indrukwekkende kijk in de gruwelijkheden van de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
