This mountainous waterfall flowing from the highest peaks of the Caucasus Mountains and locates in Vandam village of Gabala. The name of the Seven Beauties (Yeddi Gozal) Waterfall originates from the name of the 7 mountain roads that should pass to reach the waterfall. As the waterfall is completely frozen in the winter, it gets harder to get here. But in spring and summer, tea houses are available on every mountain road, where the guests are offered a tea set with traditional types of Gabala jam. At the highest point of the waterfall there is a tea house with a special wooden mattress where you can drink tea with the pleasant sound and scenery of the waterfall in the background. The water of the tea is taken from the waterfall and gives a unique taste to it.

"Yeddi gozel" waterfall is a place which you have to visit if you are in Gabala. This place is full of green trees and very nice water sound effects. You have to be ready to climb too many stairs to get to the top.

The “Seven Beauty” (az. Yeddi Gözəl) waterfalls, located in Gabala’s Vendam village, flow all the way from the highest peaks of the Caucasus Mountains finally falling from the height of 120m into the picturesque, lush woodland of Gabala. As only two mini waterfalls are visible from the base of the mountain one has to climb the wooden stairs to encounter the other “beauties”. Although the climb comes with a bit of effort, following the “stairway to heaven” and reaching the summit fully compensates and presents one with a wonder’full vista of “The Beauties”. Soothing, tranquil sounds of the flow synergised by the magnificent vibes of the densely packed forest has the ability to inspire true awe in one. In late autumn, winter and early spring, it is rather difficult to get to the waterfall as the path is mostly covered in ice. Though in late spring and summer, tea-huts, located along the path and run by the locals, offer delicious tea complemented with various traditional delicacies. The rumour has it that the water utilised for tea is taken directly from the waterfall which is the ‘secret recipe’ that enriches the taste of the tea, hydrating the throats and purifying the hearts of the chosen lucky ones :) Thousands of visitors spectate “The Beauties” each and every year, excluding “The Covid Year”, obviously! :) The “Seven Beauties” are 6 km from the village of Vendam and around 3 km from the main highway, easily accessible by 4x4 and some local driving skills :) There are sayings that “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder” & “Difficult paths often lead to beautiful destinations”... you get the point ;)
