A beautiful large lake about a 2 hours drive from Fagunia Farmstay. Has boating facilities. Surroundings are quite built up though.

very beautiful view of lake with mountains at backdrop .Boating is tourist attraction .You can to to hanuman temple on naukuchiatal road about 3 kms from lake .stunning view of valley from there and hube Lord hanuman statue .Nainital is 20 kms from here .

This beautiful lake just 1 Km.far from the Nature Green Resort. Among the lush green mountains, this beautiful lake has been named after Pandu's son Bhima since the Mahabharata period, hence it is called Bhimtal. It is the largest lake in the region of Kumaon. Being the most peaceful and soothing, boating in Bhimtal Lake is an important activity for visitors. The experience of boating on the Bhimtal Lake is really like sitting in the lap of nature. In the clear water of the Lake, the image of green hills around it looks like a miracle and the surrounding greenery relaxes both the heart and the mind.
