Amazon view of the city and beyond. Not hard to find and very easy to walk to. Short and accessible. Be careful to keep animals on leashes!
Easy hike the beautiful scenery. also great top rope and trad climbing!
Great sweeping views of the city and the surrounding countryside. The walk to the viewpoint is very short but there are miles of trails on Lookout Mountain that can be accessed from this spot.
This is probably my favorite spot in Chattanooga. And it’s free! You drive up Lookout Mountain, park in the small parking lot, and take a short hike down to see the spectacular view! Great for a picnic lunch or a romantic view of the sunset. You can also continue your hike if you’d like, as the path…
On a clear day, this is the best place to be as the sun sets! A beautiful west-facing view from atop Lookout Mountain is the perfect setting for yoga, meditation, drawing, reading, or to just relax. There are hiking trails and spots for rock climbing nearby as well! Leashed pups are welcome. Bring a…

“Stringer's Ridge Park is a hidden gem right in the heart of downtown Chattanooga. Several hiking and mountain biking trails are available. Great overlook of downtown. Located at the end of Spears Avenue. ”

“The beautiful Cumberland Trail begins at Signal Point Park, part of the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park. From the overlook, the trail descends into Middle Creek Gorge and along Rainbow Lake before entering Prentice Cooper State Forest. The trail ascends out of the gorge to then follow the plateau rim, affording multiple overlooks of the Tennessee River Gorge before dropping into the North Suck Creek Gorge, and crossing the creek on a suspension bridge, and eventually emerges on Suck Creek Road (TN 27). Highlights include Signal Point; an overlook of wet-weather waterfall; Lockhart’s Arch & other rock formations; & Edwards Point with it's spectacular view of the TN River!”

“Great drinks and delicious late night bites! Laid back atmosphere with roll up doors that bring the outdoors in when weather permits. It is over 21 only after 5pm and not the best place for kids unless you’re there for brunch on Sunday dining outside. ”

“The Hunter has a wonderful collection of art, and they always have interesting new temporary exhibits. Located in the beautiful Bluff View Art District, the art museum is easy to get to by crossing over the pedestrian bridge from north Chatt, and then crossing over a small see-through bridge to the museum itself. There are beautiful views from the bluff! And one of my favorite coffee shops, Rembrandt’s, is right next door to the museum and has a really nice, large patio with a European vibe. ”
