The park is huge with tons of trails and if you walk al the way down to the water, the trail follows the shoreline. Epic sunsets during the summer.

A fantastic park with multiple trails overlooking the beautiful Puget Sound, Vashon Island, and the Olympic Mountains. The park also includes free parking, picnic areas, various sporting fields, playground, beach front paths/views, and a heated salt water pool available in the summer.

A massive ocean park! The drive over the West Seattle bridge is well worth it to spend the day hiking, exploring the beach, and swimming in Seattle’s saltwater pool (Colman). The beach is rocky (for sandy beach try Golden Gardens) with lots of driftwood and logs. Parking is free and you can…

Bäckerei
“First opened in West Seattle where the historic Blake’s Bakery once stood, William and Heather Leaman continue to make history daily with one-of-a-kind creations. This café always has a large selection of fresh baked goods and desserts to choose from, which are sold on a first come, first serve basis. With over 20 years experience in pastry, bread and chocolate, and as the captain of the 2005 Bread Bakers Guild Team USA, where he led his team to victory at the Coupe du Monde de Boulangerie (World Cup of Baking), William Leaman’s Bakery Nouveau has become a Seattle icon. ”

Hawaiianisches Restaurant
“After the fun 10 minute Water Taxi from Pier 50 Downtown to West Seattle...Marination is right next to the pier. Casual place serving Hawaiian/Korean street food while sitting on picnic tables looking directly back at the Seattle skyline. If you are short on time for a ferry to Bainbridge, this is a great alternative.”

Theater
“The Admiral Theater is a landmark of the North Admiral neighborhood of West Seattle. It was once famous for showing films that were just about to be released on video regardless of format, but is now showing new releases.”
