A very traditonal place 'Kafeneio', with very very good cretan cuisine, there you can find unique meze, in the traditional village of Heraklion 'Archanes'. Explore the village around and then enjoy the food or a drink to 'Agora'.

H<< agora>> is in the village of Archanes , 10 minutes after Knossos. Nikos and Maria are there with handmade traditional Cretan plates.You can taste dolmadakia ( leaves of grapes with rice and spices ) ,apaki ( pork fillets with vinegar ),mountain greens ,fried potatoes in olive oil and many many other delicious plates. Raki ( the traditional drink of Crete ) and red wine are homemade from Nikos as well as dessertspoon of grapes made by Granny popi open hours 6 am to 1.00 am.
