The area of Galaria in the coastal zone of Neos Panteleimonas, Pieria is considered a “monument”, a characteristic example of Modern Industrial Architecture. It is located on the north side of Platamonas Castle Hill and is essentially the open northern section of the old railway line, following the closed tunnel section of the Platamonas Tunnel. At the Gallaria Bar you can enjoy your coffee or drink all day and night in front of the Aegean sea and swim in the crystal clean water of the area.

You can have a coffee in an old train tunnel and enjoy the sea. You can park near cafe or you can park near Hotel Kymata and walk through the tunnel.

Η Γαλαρία της παλιάς σιδηροδρομικής γραμμής του Πλαταμώνα, η οποία εδώ και χρόνια είχε βυθιστεί στη λήθη και την εγκατάλειψη, παραδομένη στην πυκνή βλάστηση και τη σκουριά της θάλασσας, ξαναγεννήθηκε μέσα από την ιδιωτική πρωτοβουλία, ως νέος πρωτοποριακός πολυχώρος “GALLARIA”. Σε ένα τοπίο σπάνιας ομορφιάς, κάτω ακριβώς από το Κάστρο του Πλαταμώνα, η παλιά γαλαρία του τρένου, που χάριζε στο παρελθόν στους ταξιδιώτες μοναδική θέα στη θάλασσα, μετατράπηκε σε ένα υπέροχο café και πολιτισμικό χώρο ταυτόχρονα, ο οποίος σέβεται και αφηγείται την ιστορία της, με φωτεινά γράμματα. Αυτός ήταν εξάλλου και ο στόχος του ντόπιου επιχειρηματία Γιώργου Τζόβα, ο οποίος μίσθωσε από τη ΓΑΙΑΟΣΕ την περιοχή, θέλοντας να δημιουργήσει έναν πόλο ανάπτυξης. Με σεβασμό στην κληρονομιά του χώρου- έχει πλέον χαρακτηριστεί μνημείο Βιομηχανικής Αρχιτεκτονικής των αρχών του 20ου αιώνα – ανακατασκεύασε τη γαλαρία με σύγχρονους όρους, διατηρώντας όμως στο έπακρο την αρχική της εικόνα. The Gallaria of the old railway line of Platamonas, which for years had sunk into oblivion and abandonment, surrendered to the dense vegetation and the rust of the sea, was reborn through the private initiative, as a new innovative multi-purpose hall "GALLARIA". In a landscape of rare beauty, right below Platamonas Castle, the old train gallery, which in the past gave travelers a unique view of the sea, has been transformed into a wonderful café and cultural space at the same time, which respects and tells its history, with bright letters. This was also the goal of local businessman Giorgos Tzovas, who leased the area from GAIAOSE, wanting to create a development hub. With respect to the heritage of the space - it has now been designated a monument of Industrial Architecture of the early 20th century - he reconstructed the gallery in modern terms, while preserving as much as possible its original image.
