Beacon Hill Park is located along the south shore of Victoria and the Juan de Fuca Strait. It has been a park belonging to the city of Victoria since 1882. A trust was then established for the 62-acre (24.8-hectare) site.

A beautiful park in the centre of Victoria, Beacon Hill park has gardens, playing fields, a petting zoo, peacocks in the trees, a dog park along the ocean and much more. Located near lovely Cook Street Village.
Victoria landmark, in spring and summer they have baby goats in the petting zoo. A great scenic park walk .
With over 200 acres of park land, Beacon Hill Park is the crowning jewel in Victoria's park system. There are natural areas, manicured flower beds, petting zoo, footpaths and many sports and play features for the whole family to enjoy.
Beacon Hill Park is home to what was once the world's tallest totem pole in the world, a 38.9 metre (128 foot) pole raised in 1956. Also home to the Beacon Hill Petting Zoo. This is a gorgeous park which also boarders on Mile Zero to the Trans Canada Highway.
Centrally located, Beacon Hill Park is a great place to spend a time outdoors. Walk bridged paths over pond(s) abounding with turtles and ducks, play in the kiddy park, polish your putting skills on the mini putting green or pop into the petting zoo to chase those blues away. It's impossible to keep…
You could spend a whole day at this park and still have more to do. Great spot. Peacocks running wild. Plenty of playgrounds. Gardens and fountains. The lookout. Great place.
