Right next to Venice Beach. Lots of action and amusement park stuff on the pier.
Okay, so it’s kinda far... but you can get there on the Metro and if you’ve got the time you should go check out Santa Monica (the beach and the pier).
Santa Monica Pier is a classic, my favorite thing to do here is to rent bikes and ride all the way to Will Rogers State beach along the bike path. For those 80s and 90s kids who grew up watching Big, Zoltar remains here :)
Want to explore the child within you? Try the Ferris wheel (it won’t disappoint) and head to the pier end to see if the resident seal is there. Enjoy some cotton candy or corndogs then head to the beach to play on the gymnastics themed Beach Park (just south of the pier) Some of our favorite Santa…

The second best reason to come to Los Angeles. You will find everything only 6 miles away.
I highly recommend doing the ferris wheel ride. It has the most stunning views for photos. You won't regret it! Oh and the street churros are pretty good too!
