The only museum of its kind in Northern Europe. The Nordic Trot Museum is beautifully situated inside the Årjängstravets public area just along the E18 east of Årjäng. The basic exhibitions focus on the horse's and trot's history. The museum also contains a well-attended library of trot sport literature. Temporary exhibitions are shown at the Nordic Trotting Museum a few times a year. These can be with or without horse attachments. More information about current exhibitions can be found on their website. For the horse enthusiast there is also a lot to choose from in the museum shop. The Nordic Trot Museum is also an ATG representative, which means that anyone who wishes can both play on trot and watch the races live. Conference There are conference rooms of different sizes with modern technology and in a cozy atmosphere. Restaurant The museum's restaurant is well known for its good food and Monday-Friday 11.00-14.30 is served the day's lunch. Open on weekdays 11.00-16.00 and in addition when ordering. For the kids In the museum there are our popular wooden horses that can be replaced. For the smallest children there is a play corner in the museum. Årjängstravets playground is in close proximity to the museum.
