Another stunning town, dubbed the Venice of the Dordogne, 45 mins drive from Les Taloches. Excellent restaurants, kayaking or taking a river boat cruise, shopping, visiting the Benedictine Abbey, taking a picnic on the rivers edge....you can easily spend an entire day here!

Beautiful little local town, known as " the Venice of the Perigord" due to the river and canals that surround the old medieval town. Visit early on Fridays in order to get parked and visit the market. Take towels if you fancy a swim as there is a small riverside beach next to the main carpark. …
