Fabulous park with monuments, tennis courts, and kid's playgrounds (x2!), and also close to many excellent restaurants on Dekalb Ave. A great place to relax and people-watch. Check out the Farmer's Market every Saturday along the park's east side.

The best NYC park in our opinion! Not too small, but not as big as Prospect Park or Central Park. A haven for little ones and dogs too, featuring musicians, the greenmarket on saturdays, tennis and the best spot for relaxing with the family.
Fort Greene Park is another must visit if you want to get a feel for Brooklyn. We were lucky enough to live across the street from it about 15 years ago. On Saturdays there's a Greenmarket on Washington Park and Dekalb. The surrounding neighborhood of Fort Greene is filled with tree lined streets…
Located on the edge of Fort Greene and Downtown Brooklyn lies a 30-acre park that dates back to the Revolutionary War. Fort Greene Park is Brooklyn’s oldest park and it has centuries of history to its name. It’s a great place for expertise or to take your dog for daily off-leash hours from 9PM -9AM…
Nestled in one of the most beautiful Brooklyn neighborhoods and less than a ten minute walk away, it's a great place to go for walk, a run or just absorb the sights. Sunday afternoon Soul Summit in the Summertime is the best time to shake your money maker.
The next closest park after Herbert King. Beautiful, historic spot. GREAT farmer's market on Saturdays, free dog time, tennis courts, etc.
