The Annapolis Valley is home to many family-run farms and artisans. The best place to learn about Kentville and the Annapolis Valley, along with having a tasty lunch, is at the Kentville Farmers Market. It is open on Wednesdays from 10 am to 2 pm year round.

The Kentville Farmer’s Market is a great place to enjoy local produce, treats and great lunch food from multiple vendors. Open 10am-1pm in Centre Square (easy 15 minute walk downtown), enjoy a pan au chocolate from Marie et Guy’s French Bakery, get eggs and grass fed meats from Betty at Jordan’s Natural Acres, get all the ingredients for a delicious salad from Brogan at Terra Tonics Farm, and more! Enjoy a freshly cooked burger or sausage, Vietnamese fried rice, chicken shawarma and other Tunisian cuisine. In the summer market is every Wednesday and in the fall/winter the market is every Thursday.
