Gara is a spectacular circular walk along the coast path from Salcombe and when you arrive to the new urban sheek hotel there is a reward of delicious Chef Lewis' seasonal dishes made with ingredients from local producers and his own kitchen garden. They also provide a Land Rover Defender taxi, for those who would rather not walk, or perhaps would like a lift back to the ferry. Must book gets very booked up in peak periods and weekends.
