One of the closest restaurants down the street. Good Italian homemade food and desserts. Beer on tap (bières pression). Jazz background music.

Gorgeous dishes with a true Italian chef patron from Rome assisted by his charming Sardinian wife. Located in a humble setup in a small band club located bang in the middle of Piazza Paolino Vassallo, Cospicua, but nobody really cares about the lack of fancy decoration since customers go for the mouth watering dishes. The piazza is a good spot for watching people and the Valletta ferry going to and fro. If it's sunny you might be tempted to lounge there over a few beers. Best to reserve beforehand as lunch scene can be crowded though evenings are usually calmer.
