Take a hike in Topanga Canyon, it is absolutely beautiful! There are a hand full of restaurants and cool shops to visit as well.

Topanga is the closest beach, and it is easy access with a large parking lot. There are also regular buses from Woodland Hills right down to the beach, if you don't want to drive.
