Bear Country is just up the road. Pack your car full, as the entry fee is by carload. Your children well be delighted to see this place.

“Pactola Lake is the largest reservoir in the Black Hills. It was created by the construction of Pactola Dam. It is rumored to have several towns at the bottom of the lake that were subsequently abandoned in 1952. Today it offers incredible views, fishing, and boating.
