Near Ghirardelli Square, Crissy Field and Aquatic Park, Fort Mason is an historical place with nice walks, a cultural center that has coffee shops, restaurants, a farmer's market, art store, theater, and a wonderful bookstore. We love this place.
Walk up to Fort Mason on any Sunday to find our local weekly farmer's market. Continue walking up to the Fort Mason park - don't forget your camera, you'll want to take pictures of the Bay and Golden Gate bridge. If you are up for it, continue down the path to Ghirardelli Square and Fisherman's…
lovely park. you can walk to it either through Bay str (if want it faster) or you can walk all the way to the water on Larkin and then follow the walking/bike trail along the water for the best scenic walk
Start your walk here towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Amazing photos ops right along the water. Flat walk. Great farmers market there on Sundays.

“Pizza fans and wine lovers visit A16 to enjoy the flavors of Italy’s soulful south. This pizzeria shares a name with the highway of the two seas which runs across Italy from Napoli to Bari. The inspiration comes from the region, especially Campania. Executive Chef Nicolette Manescalchi oversees the menu, which features fresh pasta, house-butchered and house-cured meats and authentic Pizza Napolitana. Complementing the rustic fare, Wine Director Shelley Lindgren selects wines that highlight the indigenous grapes from Campania and nearby regions.”

Point of Interest
“The Palace of Fine Arts in the Marina District of San Francisco, California, is a monumental structure originally constructed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in order to exhibit works of art presented there. One of only a few surviving structures from the Exposition, it is still situated on its original site. It was rebuilt in 1965, and renovation of the lagoon, walkways, and a seismic retrofit were completed in early 2009. In addition to hosting art exhibitions, it remains a popular attraction for tourists and locals and is a favorite location for weddings and wedding party photographs for couples throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and such an icon that a miniature replica of it was built in Disney's California Adventure in Anaheim.”
