St Ives is the gem of Cornwall due to its magical light which has inspired many artists over the century's, with a rich history in fishing this quaint town is packed with restaurants and beautiful beaches for you to enjoy. You can drive to St Ives or take the train which has a connecting train from St Erth where you can enjoy stunning views of the coast as you arrive. For those into art there is The Tate Art Museum which is opposite Porthmeor Beach, the town offers something for everyone on a visit. tip watch out for seagulls try not to eat in the street they can be a bit of a menace

Makes you feel like you’re on holiday even if you live there. Best way to get there is the park and ride from st erth train station , the train ride has the most amazing views Lots of lovely beaches and nice places to get food

A very pretty and VERY famous harbour. It gets super busy in the summer. Home to the Tate St Ives. Best plan is to park at St Erth and catch the train taking in some amazing views. Top tip - St Erth to St Ives - sit on the right side, that's the sea side and best views.

Hustle and bustle in the summer. There is a bus that you can catch at the end of Mayon Green Crescent. It’s an open top bus. This will take you the coastal way to St ives. It’s highly recommended on a dry day!! Get off in St Ives and spend the day on the beach , shopping , eating , drinking . Then get the last bus back. Watch your hats if you go past a tree on the top deck!😂

The following beaches are dog friendly at all times. Bamaluz is a small tidal beach located between the Harbour and Porthgwidden, which allows dog access all year round, as well as Lambeth Walk just behind the lifeboat station. Dogs are banned between 10am and 6pm 1st July to 31st August on Porthminster, Porthgwidden and the Harbour Beach. On St Ives Blue Flag beaches, Porthmeor and Carbis Bay the restrictions span a little longer, from 15 May to 30 September between 10am and 6pm. For the ultimate walk for owner and dog, head out of town along the coastal path and have the view virtually to yourself. There are many quiet inland woods and rivers that you can enjoy with your four-legged friend.
