Taste of Persia NYC

Warum Einheimische es empfehlen

This quirky Persian food stall not far from Union Square is tucked away inside a pizza joint but has its own counter in the shop. For a warming, satisfying, and hearty lunch, order a bowl of ash-e reshteh, the thick noodle and bean soup packed with herbs that is customarily eaten on Persian New Year. Saeed Pourkay, the owner, embodies Iranian hospitality. He’s sweet, and welcoming, and loves to talk about Persian food. Plus, he makes all the food himself with lots of love.
