About 15 minutes away from us is China Ranch Date Farm. From the Las Vegas Review Journal… China Ranch Date Farm is a popular cool-season destination with wide-ranging appeal. This hidden oasis is lush with groves of various date palms, stands of cottonwoods and thickets of vegetation. Visitors follow a twisting road between high, chalky cliffs to park near a gift shop, snack bar, landscaping nursery, date processing sheds, a one-room museum and miles of hiking trails.

A-maze-ing! Drive down the winding road to China Ranch--you won't believe it! Go for a little hike when you get to the gift shop--there's a nice path to walk with a little brook. Make sure you get a Date Shake!!! They are worth the extra calories!
