This is as close as you'll get to Tayrona without actually paying the entrance fee or the extenuating walks. Los Ángeles sits on the Los Naranjos area, to the right of the river mouth of the Piedra river. Quite stunning location very well kept by the colonizers. The currents are strong so you have to watch out. Daypass costs around 8.000 COP. They allow dogs, which pay 5.000 COP.

It’s a great option for a day trip. It’s a beach near the Tayrona park area. You don’t need to Pat to enter the beach, it’s a camping site and has a restaurant with great fried fish and a couple of veggie options. You get there by hiring a private taxi (you can ask me for a great contact) or by the bus that leaves form the Santa Marta market/mercado público.
