Only a mile up the road in the pretty village of Dittisham. You can buy your morning paper, a pint of milk, bread, and a pint of beer or a morning cappuccino. Very useful for things you may have run out of.

“Fabulous walks along the coast - either on cliffs or beaches with hidden coves to take a dip in. A wonderful way to spot wildlife including seals, cormorants and other birdlife. Take care with children and dogs on the cliff tops. ”

“Can't recommend highly enough although it does get really busy in summer so you might need to wait for food but its beautiful food and you have the river to look at and the wine to enjoy whilst you wait (and if you have kids they can be entertained crabbing on the pontoon) ”
