You can also take a water taxi to this restaurant, which is nice to do. It is situated in the old building of the holland-america line. They also have a cocktailbar in the basement.

This iconic building located on the Kop van Zuid used to house the offices of the Holland America Line. Many ships to America departed from this spot. Now it is a hotel with big rooms, all uniquely decorated. Hotel New York is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon on the terrace overlooking the Maas. There us a nice area for kids to run around. The hotel has a lovely shop as well. Don't forget to take the watertaxi back to the city center!
